What happens when design and entrepreneurship meet?
A Belgian clothing label that gives reflection a new meaning.
Kwinkslag The Label was born from the graphic studio Kwinkslag Design, where typography, identity and visual refinement take center stage. That's where the idea grew: what if the visuals we design could be turned into wearable design?
And so came a collection of modern unisex clothing with reflective details. Made for those who move, from day to night.
Founders Phebe (graphic designer) and Claude (event creative) merged their worlds: one with an eye for aesthetics, the other with a feel for energy. Together, they create a label that unites style, visibility and Belgian design.
Bioluminescent plankton lit up with every movement. Thousands of tiny sparks surrounding us. It felt electric, almost unreal, as if we had become part of that light ourselves.
That experience became our spark, the beginning of Kwinkslag The Label. We wanted to capture that same feeling in clothing: subtle by day, unexpected by night. That's how the idea of reflective fashion was born. Casual, unisex and designed for people in motion.

Where the spark happened
The idea for Kwinkslag The Label was born in 2022, somewhere halfway across the world. While traveling through Cambodia - between ancient temple ruins, vibrant night markets and the sound of tuk-tuks - the first seed of our Belgian clothing label began to grow.
On the idyllic island of Koh Rong, we saw how light and darkness can create something magical together. Under a sky full of stars, we stepped into the sea. At first, everything was dark. Until the water suddenly began to glow.
Where the spark happened
The idea found roots in 2022, somewhere halfway across the world.
We were travelling through Cambodia — temple ruins, night markets, tuk-tuks, and total chaos.
But then we landed on Koh Rong. And everything slowed down.
There, under a sky full of stars, we walked into the sea.
At first, everything was dark. But as we moved, something surreal happened: the water started glowing.
We didn’t want to make ordinary clothing.
We wanted to make conversation pieces.
Clean. Reflective. And slightly off the norm, just like us.
Our designs are unisex, created in Belgium and made to move.
Not to shout, but to let your style speak.
Where others saw a limitation, we saw a moment to shine. Literally.
This started as a design experiment. Now it’s a wearable identity.
Too many fits look good in daylight and disappear at night. We create Belgian essentials with reflective details. Pieces that stay visible without asking for attention.
